Denim, Wildflowers, and a Full Dance Floor: The WV Land Trust Blue Jean Ball

Some nights are dressed up. This one was dressed down, in the best possible way.
The Blue Jean Ball is the West Virginia Land Trust’s beloved come-as-you-are fundraiser, co-hosted with the Mon River Trails Conservancy. It is exactly what it sounds like: your favorite jeans, a picnic, local craft beer, a live band, yard games, and a field full of friends who care about keeping the Mon Valley green. Every dollar raised goes toward public green space, trails, and outdoor places our community gets to keep.
When the cause is that warm, the booth has to match it.
What we brought
We styled our setup to feel right at home under the evening sky, and we designed a custom denim-and-wildflowers overlay built just for the night. Every photo guests took came out framed in artwork made for the Blue Jean Ball alone, not a generic template, but a keepsake that says exactly where they were and what they were celebrating.
That is something we do for every event we take on. The overlay is included, and it is designed from scratch to fit the occasion.
Why it worked
A good fundraiser runs on energy, and a photo booth is a quiet little engine for it. Guests drifted over between songs, pulled friends in, and walked away with a print in hand, and a reason to talk about the night long after they got home. Every share on social became one more person seeing the work the Land Trust does.
That is the part we love most: a booth is fun in the moment, but it keeps working for the cause for days afterward.
To the West Virginia Land Trust and the Mon River Trails Conservancy, thank you for letting us be part of a night that gives back to the place we all call home.
